GenF at IFSA25

GenF is pleased to announce its participation at the 13th International conference on Inertial Fusion Sciences and Applications, the landmark conference in the field of inertial confinement fusion

IFSA 2025 is around the corner! The 13th International conference on Inertial Fusion Sciences and Applications, the landmark conference in the field of inertial confinement fusion, will take place in the beautiful city of Tours from September 14th to 19th.

The Taranis project led by GenF with our partners CEA, CNRS, Ecole Polytechnique and Thales will be strongly represented in the conference through the following talks and posters:

  • “Implosion and illumination design for laser driven fusion energy” by Duncan Barlow from CEA
  • “Towards inertial fusion energy with lasers and reactor design” by Xavier Ribeyre from CEA
  • “Foam target structures developed by two-photon polymerization for inertial confinement fusion” by Raphaël Penelope from CEA
  • “What technological path(s) for Inertial Fusion Energy targets? by Florian Condamine from GenF
  • “Numerical studies of foam-based target designs for stable drive-drive implosions” by Diego Viala from Laboratoire d’Utilisation des Lasers Intenses at Ecole Polytechnique
  • “Addressing the first wall challenges for an ICF pilot plant” by Mykola Ialovega from GenF
  • “Inertial fusion reactor system modeling: precursor to a digital twin by Hugo Chesneau from GenF

See you in Tours, we are looking forward to meet and exchange with the inertial fusion community!
