Born from the French ecosystem of excellence (Thales, CEA, CNRS), GenF is developing a direct-drive inertial fusion approach, leveraging recent breakthroughs in high-power lasers and PCSEL diodes. Our architecture aims to:

• Radically simplify reactor engineering compared with magnetic approaches
• Capitalize on the industrial maturity of laser components and cryogenic targets
• Accelerate time-to-market with a roadmap aligned with the European fusion strategy and France 2030 priorities
• Build a sovereign value chain, from tritium breeding to thermal conversion systems

Our ambition is clear: to deliver the first commercial inertial fusion electricity within the next decade.
